Privacy Policy

Effective June 10, 2026

The short version: your work is yours. What you write, record, and journal here is some of the most personal stuff there is — we treat it that way. We collect the minimum we need to run the tools, we don't sell or share your data, we don't use your creative work for anything (including training AI), and we don't look at it.

The rest of this page spells that out in detail. Questions any time: [email protected].

Who we are

Sound Grind Soul ("SGS", "we") is a creative development company based in Oklahoma City, OK. Our tools are designed and built in partnership with Game Theory LLC, our creative & technology partner. This policy covers soundgrindsoul.com and its tools, including The Vault (vault.soundgrindsoul.com) and Be.

What we collect — and what we don't

Your creative work (the part that matters most)

You own everything you create. Lyrics, melodies, voice memos, journal entries, ideas — all of it stays your intellectual property, full stop. Using our tools transfers no rights to us beyond the bare technical permission needed to store your work and show it back to you.

Local first. The Vault and Be. save your work on your own device by default (in your browser's local storage). If you never create an account, your work never leaves your device at all.

Cloud backup is opt-in. If you join a plan with cloud backup and sign in, your entries sync to your private space in our database (hosted by Supabase), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), and walled off per-account so only your login can reach your rows.

Nobody browses your work. We don't read, mine, analyze, or train anything on your content. A human would only ever touch it at your explicit request (support) or if the law compels it.

You can leave with your work. The Vault has a built-in export that downloads everything (lyrics and audio) to a file on your device, free plan included.

Cookies & local storage

Retention & deletion

Your rights

Wherever you live (including under GDPR and CCPA-style laws), we honor the same rights for everyone: ask us what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. One email does it.

Children

Our services aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

As SGS grows (more tools, more cloud features), this policy will grow with it. We'll post changes here with a new effective date — and the commitments in the short version at the top are the ones we consider permanent.
